Licensure Supervision
Structured, supportive supervision for pre-licensed clinicians in Washington State pursuing licensure. Supervision focuses on clinical growth, ethical practice, documentation standards, and professional development.
Supervision Style
My supervision style is process-oriented, positively reinforcing, and comes from a self-as-therapist foundational approach. Expect to discuss your experience of countertransference as I believe that your awareness and understanding of it is necessary to therapeutic growth and skill-building. Supervision is also sometimes more active and can include clinical role plays or experiential interventions you’re experimenting with. Additionally, we will regularly discuss ethics, self-care, compassion fatigue, and career plans. We will collaborate on your specific goals for supervision; my hope is that through our supervision work, you feel supported and confident in your clinical practice. Supervision includes the following:
Support with case conceptualization
Documentation and compliance guidance
Business and private practice mentorship
Ongoing professional skills development
Individual and dyadic supervision options
Next steps
As with my clients, finding a good fit in the supervisory relationship is important and you should be sure that my areas of interest and experience make sense with your practice. I typically schedule a complimentary 30-minute conversation to determine if we would be an appropriate fit for supervision. Once we agree to establish a supervision relationship, we will review and sign a contract of the supervision terms.
Cost
Payment is due at the end of each supervision session and is outlined below:
Individual supervision, 60 minutes: $100.00
Dyadic supervision, 60 minutes: $70.00 per person
